How to keep the neighbor kids off my yard?
My neighbor’s kids keep playing in my yard. Their basketball hoop is near our front yard and they’ve hit my house and windows with their ball. I’ve even found one of the kids on my patio by my front door. They drag their razor scooters over everybody’s yard and are just dis-respectful. I know when I was a kid, I just automatically knew not to play in peoples yards.
The other day I told them to stay out of my yard and their mother and an unknown male came out and were very hostile. So, now I know that I cannot talk to them like civil mature adults. The mother and the man said I was “harassing” the children, but that is not the case. I’m very frustrated and since I cannot talk to the parents, I do not know what to do.
Please help!!
First off sorry for your troubles- we had a similar situation to the point where we actually had to call the police and police said that every time they come on your property that they were trespassing. So I would call the police you should not have to tolerate this disrespect!
